Here is a very good quote from the President Lyndon B. Johnson that is full of wisdom:
"We must open the doors of opportunity. But we must also equip our people to walk through those doors".

Personal childhood web

Hello,
Below is the picture that reflects better my childhood. I am in the middle sitting on a chair. I was 7 years-old, life was full of joy, and that day it was my first holy communion at the catholic church.
On the left my mother, and fourth from the left, my father. There are my brother, my sister, my god mother, my two cousins and my four friends with their mother.
The thing that i will keep on remembering is my father buying me chocolate when i had got good grades at school and how we used to play the whole afternoon without feeling tired.
Everyone had impacted my life up to now, because i am carrying the love they gave me. For example today my father has passed away, but i still feel joy remembering those memories.
All children should have good memories of their childhood.

Passion for children

Hello everyone.

In my native language Kinyarwanda, there is a saying that "uburere buruta ubuvuke". This means that there is more to parenting than to giving birth. And i think that this is true in the sens that, raising a child requires a big responsibility and commitment.
It is a plus when it is done with passion. I would want to share my mum's picture with you. It was in 1974, she was 34 years old, with the second grade class.

She is a role model to me. She founded her own school when she was turning 50 years old in 1990.
She is among the first girls to go to school in my country Rwanda.
Now her school has 1,600 students in total, with kindergarten, and primary.
I hope that you understand my admiration for her.
